What is Endometriosis?
Endometriosis is a condition where tissue similar to the lining inside your uterus grows outside the uterus, causing pain, especially during menstruation.

How common is it?
It affects 1 in 10 women of reproductive age.

Symptoms:

Painful periods
Pain during or after intercourse
Chronic pelvic pain
Heavy menstrual bleeding
Difficulty getting pregnant

Treatment:

Pain relief medications (NSAIDs)
Hormonal therapies (birth control, IUDs)
Surgery (in severe cases)

When to seek treatment?

Severe menstrual pain
